教学设计Finding the Way黑龙江省哈尔滨市第一一三中学校 赵跃琦Finding the Way一、设计思路以友好交流生“Susan”来哈尔滨一一三中学访问为主线: 与Susan视频,按她的请求画学校周边环境图; 接到Susan电话后给她画两张路线图(火车站-113中;飞机场-113中); 接到学校短信,在体育馆举行欢迎会,给Susan画火车站-体育馆路线图; 打电话通知Susan地图已发送,Susan手机关机了,看Susan的表情预测她发生了什么(听前预测); Susan询问警察去体育馆的路(听力部分); 欢迎会结束后Susan和同伴询问去博物馆的路(Speaking); 扮演Susan和同伴去更多的地方(自编对话,利用板书地图,问路、指路); Susan想来参观南昌(作业:画出火车站到心远中学的路线图,写出路线并描述学校位置,发给Susan)二、教学目标n Knowledge Aim: Students can grasp the sentence structures: “Its across from the post office.” and “Go straight one block and turn right.”n Ability Aim: Students can use the key expressions to find the way and develop the ability of listening and speaking.n Emotion Aim: Encourage students to be ready to help others. 三、重点难点n Key Points: Students can understand and master the usage of “Its across from the post office.” and “Go straight one block and turn right.”n Difficult Points: Students can use the key expressions to tell the way and describe the position of the certain place.四、教学过程Step 1 Warm up and lead inn Lead students to watch the video about the teacher to build up a good relationship between the teacher and the students. n Introduce the buildings around the school to review the names of some buildings.Step 2 Presentation n Describe the position of the school to practice the usage of orientational prepositions and learn the new phrase “across from”. n Learn the new word “block”.n Find the way from the train station and the airport to the school and the gym to practice the key expressions.Step 3 Listeningn Predict what happened to Susan.n Listen and grasp the main idea of the dialogue.n Listen and draw Susans route on the map and circle the correct building she is going to.n Listen and get more details by doing True or False exercises.Step 4 Speakingn Watch the video, answer the question: Where are they going?n Listen and repeat.n Read aloud in roles.n Do role plays in groups of three.Step 5 Show timen Create new dialogues to use the expressions.Step 6 Homeworkn Draw a map to show Susan the way from Nanchang Railway Station to Xinyuan Middle School五板书设计
