I am number xxxx, Its my great honor to stand here to share my teaching ideas with you. Today I am going to talk about the second period in Section A of Unit 5 if you go to the party, youll have a good time! Which is taken from Go for it, Book 4. My presentation consists of 9 parts:Part 一、教材分析 (analyzing teaching material)In this unit Ss will learn a new grammar: if conditional adverbial clause. The topic is mainly about “taking parties.” This lesson is the second period of unit5, it mainly talks about the rules for school parties, and Ss can talk about the rules with the grammar if conditional adverbial clause. By learning it ,Ss can make some rules for our school library and the English club.Part 二、学习目标:learning aims1.知识目标: Aims on the knowledge1)Enable the Ss to remember the following new words and phrases:remember; take away; project; visit; flowerSentences:If you wear jeans, we wont let you in.If you do it, the teachers will call your parents.If you dont have your ID card, you cant go to the party.2.能力目标:Aims on the abilities1) To develop Ss abilities of listening, speaking and reading abilities.2) To train the Ss ability of working in groups.3.情感目标:Aims on the emotionlead Ss to know more about rules for school parties.Part 三、教学重点:Key points of this lesson:1) To help Ss grasp the usage of If conditional adverbial cause.2)To develop Ss interest in English.Part 四.教学难点:Different points:Writing practice; Oral practice.Part 五教学方法:Teaching methods As we all know: the main instructional aims of learning English in Middle school is to cultivate Ss basic abilities of listening and speaking and their good sense of the English language. So in this lesson Ill mainly use “Task-based” teaching method. That is to say, I will let the Ss learn in real situations, help the Ss to get a better understanding of the key structure of the dialogue. I will arrange four kinds of activities: reading by themselves, listening ,practicing dialogues and writing. Part 六、学法指导 study methods1). Teach Ss how to be successful learners.2) Teach Ss how to develop the skills: how to communicate with others; how to learn new words; how to learn independently;3) Get the Ss to form good learning habits.Part 七.教学过程:Teaching procedures I will finish this lesson in 7 steps.Step 1 Greeting (3m)1. Exchange greetings with the Ss. 2. Duty report. 3.Review the Grammar if conditional adverbial clause.Step 2 Presentation (5m)1. Before class: Ask students to collect some rules of public and translate them into English in groups. 2 .let students to show class what they do , and ask several groups to give class a report.Step 3 Work on 3a Activity 3a provides reading and writing practice using the target language.First ,show the notice on the screen. Ask different students to read the sentences. Then ,tell students the notice is about a school party. get students to look at the dialogue. Read the dialogue to the class, saying blank each time when coming to a blank line.Next, have students read the notice again and fill in the blanks.As students work, move around the room offering help where needed.Then correct the answers.Step 4 Work on 3bThis activity provides guided speaking and listening practice using the target language.First ask two students to read the sample dialogue.Then , lets Ss work with their partners and use the words in the box and the notice on the screen to make their conversations. As students work, move around the room offering help where needed.At the end ask several pairs of students to say their conversations to the class.Step5 4 Pair workThis activity provides listening, speaking, reading and writing practice using the target language.First read the instructions.Ask two students to read the sample dialogue.Ask another one or two students to suggest other charity events. Tell them they can pick a topic of current interest in the news.Ask students to complete the task in pairs. Students discuss the events and think of new events and activities.Get a few students to share sample conversations. List the other events on the board.Step 6 Follow up(1) Now, lets make rules for our school library!Dont talk loudly. If you do,_ Dont eat food in the library.
