The words of school things: Pencil, pencil case, pen, schoolbag, ruler, eraser, book.Teaching Aids: Pictures of school things; Word cards of them; A tape recorder; Teaching Process: Step 1: Warming up. 1. Greetings:T: Good morning / afternoon, boys and girls. How are you today?2. Sing the song and say the chant: The rainbow. & Take out your schoolbag. ( Starter Unit )Step 2: Presentation 1. Lead in: After the chant ask Ss to say what the chant is about. And say the school things they know. (学生说,老师贴图片book, pen, pencil, schoolbag, pencil case.)2. Show the word cards one by one and ask Ss to say what it is. Then stick them to the correct pictures. Spell the words one by one. (引出eraser & ruler 教读, 拼写)Step 3: Practice1. Open the books to P24, Part1: Listen and fill in the numbers.2. Check the answers by asking Whats the number of pencil? 3. Draw a schoolbag on the Bb and ask What colour is the wizards schoolbag? Then Guess with Is it ? 4. Part 2: Listen and choose. Then check the answers.5.
