Read aloud the words of Unit 5 to help them get into the English lesson. Also, it is a method for them to review what they learnt before.2. Show some pictures about famous people on the screen and ask the students to guess who are they with some key words presented as well.Step 2 While-reading 1. After showing the pictures about famous people, present three more people who did great work in Chinas history. Ask the students whether they know them or not.2. play the vido of the dialogue between Xiaoling, Ben and Jiamin. Set the purpose for them to read with two questions: Who is he/she? What did he/she do for Chinese people?3. Begin to present the title of Unit 5 and tell the students that we are going to learn something about Dr Sun Yatsen.4. Present the dialogue sentence by sentence with the help of the Powerpoint. At the same time, give some time to the students to do the translation work in groups. When comes to the key poins as well as the difficult points, give some expansion for the students to help them have a better understanding.Step 3 Post-reading1.
