Unit 3 Months of a Year教学总目标通过本单元的教学,学生能说出一年十二个月的英语名称;能用英语简单介绍一些中外节日。通过学习“Tell me something about your,When is?What do youUsually do on?”等句子结构,去获取信息。能运用从课文中学到的语言描述一年中的月份和节日,能读懂图表信息转换为文字信息,能运用从图表中获得的信息进行交流。【教学目标】1. 学习名词:January,February,March,April,May,June等2. 复习动词及短语:make,join,start,plant trees,have a party,fly kites等。3. 交流要点:What are you making? Were making boat. When is the Dragon Boat Festival? Its usually in June. Can I join you? Welcome.Lets make it together.【教学重难点】1.月份的第一个字母要大写2.月份词汇中发音较难掌握的发音,如:February,April,August,etc.3.综合运用已学知识和新知识进行口头交流。【教学用具】准备一些学生用的课本或图片,教学光碟Lesson One第一课时【教学过程】:(一)warm-up 1. Greetings.T: Hello,boys and girls! Nice to see you.How many seasons are there in a year?(学生不懂可做汉语提示) Ss:There are four seasons. They are spring, summer,autumn and winter.T: How many months are there in a year? (首次出现month,学习并教读) There are 12 months in a year. Today well learn the name of month.( 二) Presentation1. Learn the new words(展示PPT,分别呈现January,February,March,April等单词。)教授方法:教读、齐读操练方法:齐读、快速认读、英汉互译2. Learn new dialogueT:Do you know the Dragon Boat Festival?(展示PPT,呈现端午节的画面)教读:Dragon Boat Festival T:On that day people usually go boating.(三)New dialogue on page 25,pary one -What are you doing? Were making a boat. The Dragon Boat Festival is coming. 播放录音,让学生跟读,听录音训练学生听力。操练方法:齐读,分角色朗读。第二课时【教学过程】:(一)Greetings and review.T: Hello,boys and girls! Nice to see you.How many months are there in a year?Ss:There are 12 months in a year.T: Yesterday,we have learnt 6 months.Can you read them out? (全班集体认读单词,注意纠正个别单词的发音。) 操练方式:集体认读单词 以组为单位one by one Poin and read (二)Review the dialogue. What are you doing? Were making a boat. The Dragon Boat Festival is coming. (三)Presentation 1.Learn the new wordsT:Do you know when is the Dragon Boat Festival? Ok,lets listen to the tape,then ,well fine the answer.3. Learn the dialogue about part 2 When is it? Welcome.Lets make it together.教授方法:教读、齐读、纠正together发音(四)Practice the dialogue1.集体听音朗读,听一句读一句,分小组分角色朗读,个别同学上台表演等方式来进行朗读训练,注意提醒孩子模仿语音语调。2.勾画出对话中的重点句型,并反复操练。3.跟录音读课文,尽量做到让学生能独立朗读全篇短文。第三课时【教学过程】:(一)Greeting(二)Review1.read the words about months 操练方式:集体认读单词 以组为单位one by one Poin and read (快速读出老师随意指到的单词)2.read the dialogue on page25 (运用集体听音朗读,分小组分角色朗读,等方式来进行朗读训练,注意提醒孩子模仿语音语调。)操练方式:齐读,分角色朗读 (三)Presentation1.Learn the festivals in China New Years Day(新年) Spring Festivas(春节) Womens Day(妇女节) Labor Day(劳动节) Childrens Day(儿童节) 2. S:I like_best.(二)presentation.1.New words and phraze T:There are two terms in a school year in Chinese. (给学生翻译:在中国,一学年有两个学期。引出单词term,school year) Do you know how many terms are there in England? (你们知道在英国一学年有几个学期呢?) Ok,lets see!2.Teach the new words (在黑板上写出短文中出现的新词) first(第一) second(第二) third(第三) autumn term(秋季) spring term(春季) summer term(夏季) begin(开始) end(结束) 教授方法:跟读,齐读,快速认读3.Learn the passage 1 播放录音,让学生先听,并尽量理解短文大意。 2 勾划出文中的重要句型,着重教读。3 让学生尝试着自己翻译出重点句型的句意。 There are usually three terms in a school year in England.
