Teaching Plan of “At animal land” 林裕利一、指导思想与理论依据 本课用新课程标准理念作指导,创设情境,让学生在有趣、民主、高效、和谐的教学氛围中,在情景中学习英语。通过给他们创设各种语言环境,运用“任务型“的教学途径,让学生参与趣味性、知识性的教学活动,进行语言学习、语言交流和语言运用,激发学习英语的兴趣,建立成就感和自信心,以形成积极的学习态度,促进语言实际运用能力的提高。二、教学背景分析 (一)学习内容分析:教材版本:Primary English for China课题名称:Book 9,Unit 6 At animal land, the first period授课年级:Grade 5授课时间:1 period教材分析:本册教材涉及到各种时态包括将来时、一般现在时、现在进行时和过去时,本册书还涉及到了新的情态动词, 难度相对较大。对于本课内容来说,学生在第五册和第八册中曾学过What can you do ?的句型,句型的运用对他们来说问题不大。主要是与动物园相关的动词短语的学习与运用。 (二)学生情况分析:五年级学生已学习一些相关的句型如:Can I? I can/what can you do? 但对于动词短语的学习如drive to ,ride through, stand near 将是练习的重点。课题Book 9 unit 6 At animal land (Part A)备课方式个人课时分配第(1)课时问题收集与学情分析1、Grade Five students have leant the sentence pattern “can”and its question form. But it is not easy for them to express with the phrases given by the text about the things can do in the animal land.2. Have some pictures played by PPT one after one about some kinds of animals from the nature2. Guesses the animals name by the sound3. Talk about their favourite animalsStep two Presentation1. let the students guess teachers favourite animal and tell them the answer is cat_Dingdang Cat. Set a problem: today Dingdang Cat is not happy and in trouble, his three friends: monkey, zebra and Hippo lost their home. What can we do for them? Ask the students and promt them to say we can send them to the animal land.2. Three animals are linked to the three diffrerent places at the animal land: Monkey Mountain, Zebra Zoo, Hippo Pool. Teach the places of different animals3. Set a scene: three days later, Dingdang Cat and Daxiong came to visit the animal land. There are five different houses and they dont know where their friends are. They have to finish a series of tasks after they knock on each door so they can meet their friends. The task includes guesses from the sound of the animal or by a riddle describing the animal. In this way five doors of animal will be open. Teacher ask the students: what can we do at Zebra Zoo, we can Step three Practise1. Teach the verb phrase: drive to Hippo Pool, ride through Lion Land, watch birds in Bird Park, see zebras at Zebra Zoo, stand near Monkey Mountain and see the monkeys by doing some actions. 2.Do a little train game:The students who can get the right answer:I can ride through Lion Land for question: what can we do at Lion Land can stand behind the teacher just like a little train ride through the classroom in order to practise the difficult points. Practise drive to in a similar way.3. Pair work: practise the sentence pattern: What can we do at Animal Land? We can ask some of the groups to practise the dialogue.4. Chant with music5. Say stop and read it, make sentences.5. Make dialogues between Dingdang and DaxiongStep four Consolidation1. Dingdang brings us for bad news for the reason why their friends lost their home even their lives. Play the PPT showing the pictures.2. Students express their feelings after they have seen so many pictures about human killing the animals3. Call on all our students to protect our animal, protect our nature, protect our future.Step five HomeworkFor all 1.Write a composition: Visit Animal LandFor high level:2.
