Unit 5 What Does He Do ?Part B Lets learn一、Teaching Aims :1. Be able to listen, say, read and write these words: engineer,accountant,policeman,salesperson,cleaner.2. Be able to listen, say, recognize the sentences:How does he go to work?He goes to work by bike.二、Focus Points & Difficult Points : 1.The focus points is to master the five professional names,can question and answer.2.The difficult points is good to command of the words:engineer,accountant,policeman,salesperson.三、Teaching Preparation: word cards ,stick figure.四、 Teaching Steps: 1. Warm-up (1) Sing a song (2) Greeting2. Preview(1) 出示A部分所学的职业名称的单词,教师用what does he /she do?的句型与学生进行问答,学生根据图片回答,并拼出单词。(2) Free talk教师利用A部分接触到的句型:what does your . do? How does he/she go to work? What are you going to be?与学生进行对话练习。 3. PresentationLets learn(1) 出示 的照片,教师告诉学生:This is .He is my good friend.之后拿出课前准备好的简笔画,向学生介绍 的家人。教师问:Do you want to know what do they do?How do they go to work?把课前准备的卡片贴在黑板上。(2) 课件出示父亲的图片,并问:Who is he?学生根据前面了解的信息可以知道这是 的父亲。在学生回答之后,给出职业的描述,教师问:What does he do?引导学生回答engineer”后带读,学生跟读,拼读。Pay attention to “an”(3) 用类似的方法教授其他单词。在读的过程中穿插多种方式,比如:high and low voice,grouping.更显趣味性。(4) Game 1 Catch the words and read them aloud用多媒体课件出示Unit5的部分单词,在滚动结束之前学生必须争取读出单词并说出中文意思。(5) Pair work同桌之间根据课件提示,使用:what does your . do? He /She is a /an. How does he/she go to work? He /She goes to work by.进行对话练习。Lets find out(1)翻到书上61页,教师指导学生完成Lets find out部分的练习(2)Game 2 Act and guess每组选派两名代表上台,老师给学生A看单词卡片,学生B根据学生A的动作猜职业名称。4. Consolidation and extension(1) Sum up课件出示这节课的重点句型和单词,让学生齐读并说出中文意思。(2)Moral Education:社会需要不同的分工, 职业没有贵贱之分。不论他是清洁工,教师,警察还是官员,每一位在岗位上付出辛勤劳动的人都是值得我们尊重的。(3)Homework:Make a survey对家人的工作,工作地点,上班方式做一个调查,并完成表格。
