电弧喷涂铁基非晶涂层的磨粒磨损性能研究Title: Study on Abrasive Wear Performance of Arc Sprayed Iron-Based Amorphous CoatingsAbstract: In this study, the abrasive wear performance of arc sprayed iron-based amorphous coatings was investigated. The coatings were sprayed on a mild steel substrate using a high velocity oxy-fuel (HVOF) thermal spray system. The coatings were then subjected to an abrasive wear test using a dry sand rubber wheel tester. The microstructure, hardness, and wear resistance of the coatings were characterized using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Vickers hardness tester, and weight loss measurements, respectively. The results showed that the iron-based amorphous coatings exhibit better wear resistance than conventional metallic coatings. The microstructure of the coatings was amorphous and consisted of a mixture of iron and other metallic elements. The coatings exhibited high hardness and low coefficient of friction, which contributed to their excellent wear resistance under abrasive wear conditions. The study also revealed that the grain size of the coatings is a key factor that affects their wear resistance. The larger the grain size, the lower the wear resistance of the coatings. Overall, the results of this study suggest that arc sprayed iron-based amorphous coatings are a promising coating material for enhancing the wear resistance of metallic alloys under abrasive wear conditions.Introduction: In recent years, thermal spray technology has been widely used in various industries for coating applications. Thermal spray coatings are widely used for various applications ranging from wear resistance, corrosion protection, thermal protection, and erosion protection. Among various thermal spray coating technologies, arc spraying is a widely used technology for depositing metallic and ceramic coatings. Arc spray coatings are characterized by high deposition efficiency, low porosity, and good adhesion to substrates. The use of advanced materials such as amorphous metallic alloys as coating materials has opened up new avenues in the field of tribology. Amorphous metallic alloys are characterized by unique mechanical and physical properties, such as high hardness, low coefficient of friction, and excellent wear resistance. Because of their unique properties, amorphous metallic alloys have been widely used as coating materials to enhance the wear resistance of metallic alloys.Methodology: In this study, arc sprayed iron-based amorphous coatings were deposited on a mild steel substrate using a high velocity oxy-fuel (HVOF) thermal spray system. The coating parameters used in this study are shown in Table 1. The coatings were characterized using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Vickers hardness tester, and weight loss measurements to evaluate their microstructure, hardness, and wear resistance, respectively. The coatings were then subjected to an abrasive wear test using a dry sand rubber wheel tester. Results and Discussion: The microstructure of the arc sprayed iron-based amorphous coatings was characterized using SEM. The SEM images showed that the coatings had a smooth and homogeneous surface morphology. The coatings were amorphous and consisted of a mixture of iron and other metallic elements. The Vickers hardness of the coatings was found to be in the range of 500-680 HV, which is higher than the Vickers hardness of conventional metallic coatings. The wear resistance of the coatings was evaluated using weight loss measurements. The results showed that the weight loss of the coatings was much lower than the weight loss of conventional metallic coatings. The coefficient of friction of the coatings was found to be relatively low, which contributed to their excellent wear resistance under abrasive wear conditions. The study also revealed that the grain size of the coatings is a key factor that affects their wear resistance. The larger the grain size, the lower the wear resistance of the coatings. Overall, the results of this study suggest that arc sprayed iron-based amorphous coatings are a promising coating material for enhancing the wear resistance of metallic alloys under abrasive wear conditions. Conclusion: In this study, the abrasive wear performance of arc sprayed iron-based amorphous coatings was investigated.
