翻译专业本科培养计划Undergraduate Program for Specialty in Translation一、培养目标I. Educati onal Objectives本专业培养具有坚实的英汉语言基础、娴熟的翻译技能和扎实的政治、经济、文化、科技、 外贸、金融、法律基础知识，能够胜任外事、商贸、文化、科技、新闻出版等部门一般性口笔译 工作的复合型翻译人才。The four-year BA program enables students to demonstrate proficiency both in English and Chinese and acquire translation skills. With basic knowledge of politics, economy, culture, science and technology, foreign trade, finance and law, students are expected to work as translator or interpreter in various fields including foreign affairs, commerce and trade, culture, news media, science and technology.二、基本规格要求n. They are called upon to have broad vision and encyclopedic knowledge and acquire basic knowledge of politics, economy, culture, science and technology, foreign trade, finance and law.
