C.能够看懂指示语，并按照指令完成Lets find out中的简单任务，找出正确的画面。2能力目标。能读懂对话，并能在情景中熟练运用。3情感目标。 (1)激发学生学习英语的兴趣，调动学生学习英语的积极性，引导学生积极与他人合作，在活动中培养学生的协作精神和竞争意识。 (2)要求学生观察老师，家长, 同学，培养师生感情。也要求学生学会尊重他人。二、教学重、难点分析1本课时的教学重点是Lets learn部分的单词：old, short, thin, tall, strong, young, funny, kind。要求学生在学习过程中能结合所给句型替换关键词，在情景中学习新单词，并逐步学会听、说、读、写单词：old, short, thin, tall, strong。2本课时的教学难点是句型Whos your English teacher? Mr Hu.Whats he like? Hes tall and strong.这部分在学生用书当中首次出现，教师在教学过程中可以把其作为单词教学的铺垫，利用所提供的对话和情景，以旧引新。三、课前准备1、教师准备本课的课件及智能语音播放机。2、教师和学生共同准备学校里一些教师的照片。3、教师准备八张单词卡。 四、教学过程 1热身（Warm-up） （1）问候学生 T: Hello, boys and girls! Welcome back to school! What grade are you in ,now ? S: We are in Grade 5 T:Do you like your new English books? S: Yes! T:What are we going to talk about in Unit1?Guess! Whats the topic of Unit1? (2),自我介绍 T: Im Mrs Zhang. Nice to meet you.S: Hello, Mrs Zhang. Nice to meet you, too2导入（Preview and lead-in） 接着谈论自己，复习单词， (1)T: Im your new English teacher. Look at me. Im tall and thin.How about you? (2)指着一高个学生说 T: Hes tall ,too. 然后指着一个强壮学生说， T:Hes strong . Hes thin 复习和出现新词young, kind, old, funny 3新课呈现（Presentation） Lets learn （1）T: Lets look at Mikes family,播放课件 （2）暂停，板书Whats he like？ （3）播放课件， （4）学生回答。Hes short and thin. 并板书 （5）播放课件，学生跟智能语音播放机读对话和单词。反复练习跟读。 （6）暂停，检查学生学习情况。教师持单词卡，学生认读，教师范写四会单词让学生跟写达到听、说、读、写四会掌握新词的目的。4.练习（practice） (1)把学生按照座位分成五组，比赛，看哪组最好，回答 whats he like? Whats she like?播放课件，学生认真看，回答。 (2)Lets find out 播放课件，暂停让学生找出Who is he?
