1. To be frank, I can not support the opinion that the elderly give up their seats to the commuters on the bus or on the subway. My arguments for this view go as follows. For one thing, it is not common or reasonable to see a senior citizen standing beside a young man seated on the bus. For another, such behavior also destroys the traditional Chinese virtue because the elderly should be respected. On the contrary, I think it reasonable for the commuters to offer their seats to the elderly.2. From my point of view, I am in favor of the idea that teachers may accept small gifts from students. For one thing, the students only want to show their respect or gratitude to their teachers by sending small gifts to their teachers. For another, the gifts, such as a card, a cup, a bunch of flowers from students which are not expensive should not be defined as （被定被定义义）bribery. Therefore, it is reasonable for teachers to accept small gifts from their students.
