Its ten oclock.“Im sorry,” says Danny, “but I didnt quite hear what you said.”“I said, may I help you?” says the clerk.“Oh, yes, you may,” says Danny. “Im very hungry. If you gave me a donut, that would be a big help.”“No,” laughs the clerk, “I mean, what would you like to buy?”“I need five pieces of wood,” says Danny. “I also need a big bottle of glue.”Danny pays for the wood and glue, and goes home.
