Sing a songT: Lets start our class with a song. Do you remember the song Two Tigers? How strange!2. RevisionT: Very good! You sing very well. Now, lets review some words and sentences we learned in the last two lessons. Look at the pictures on the screen. What does he/she look like? (Show pictures of some children with different appearances)Ss: He is tall and fat. / She is short and thin. / He is very cute. / She is friendly. etc.T: Great! And how do we introduce our friends?Ss: This is my friend. He/She is. He/She likes to. (Some students may answer with the previous learned sentences)T: Very good! You have a good memory. Now, Ill ask some students to come to the front and introduce their friends in the pictures using the sentences we learned. (Ask several students to come to the front and describe the pictures, giving them praise and encouragement)(二)Presentation(设计意图:利用图片、情境创设和问答等方式,引入新单词和句型,帮助学生理解和记忆,激发学生的学习兴趣。)1. Teach the new word age and the phrase years oldT: (Show a picture of a student) Look at this boy. Do you know how old he is? (Write How old is he? on the blackboard and point to the words while saying)Ss: No.T: We can ask How old is he? to find out his age. And when we answer, we can say He is. years old. (Write He is. years old. on the blackboard and show the phrase years old) Now, lets learn the word age. It means 年龄 in Chinese. Read after me, age.Ss: Age.T: And this is years old. For example, if he is 8 years old, we can say He is 8 years old. (Show some numbers on the multimedia and ask the students to say the sentences with the numbers, like He is 5 years old. She is 9 years old.)T: Now, look at your classmates. Can you ask and answer about their ages? (Let the students practice asking and answering in pairs, walking around the classroom to check and help)2. Teach the new phrases about hobbies and activitiesDraw picturesT: (Take out a piece of paper and a pencil and start drawing a simple picture) Look at me. What am I doing?Ss: You are drawing.T: Yes, I like to draw pictures. Draw pictures means 画画 in Chinese. Read after me, draw pictures.Ss: Draw pictures.T: What do you like to draw? (Ask some students to answer)Ss: I like to draw flowers. / I like to draw animals. etc.Sing songsT: (Sing a short song) Now, what am I doing?Ss: You are singing.T: Right. I like to sing songs. Sing songs means 唱歌. Say it together, sing songs.Ss: Sing songs.T: Do you like to sing songs? Who can sing a song for us? (Some students may volunteer to sing a short song, and encourage the others to clap for them)DanceT: (Play a short video of a dancing performance) Look at this. What are they doing?Ss: They are dancing.T: Yes, dance means 跳舞. Read it, dance.Ss: Dance.T: Can you dance? Lets stand up and do some simple dance moves together.
